It has been quite the ride since I last posted. Looks like I need to get back on the horse. Let me try to catch you up on what has been going on. We have been to California twice since I last posted with those trips producing an abundance of fruit, and we have experienced many changes here in Indiana:
1. We believe we have a venue.
2. We have a P.O. Box in Escondido for the church.
3. We have a network of people in place in Escondido that have been working towards our arrival.
4. We have turned in our resignations at our current church.
5. We are working towards raising money to match a fund set up for $37,000.
6. We have at least two families that have confirmed that they will be moving out with us to California to work along side us in ministry.
7. We have a few other families that may be heading out as well and just don’t know it yet. ;-)
8. We have been supported immensely by Brookville Road Community Church, most recently going to their pastor’s conference yesterday.
9. We have confirmed out internship with Brookville Road Community Church and that will start soon after our time here at our current church comes to an end.
10. We have come into contact with several pastors both in Indiana and in California that are wanting to support this ministry.
11. We have had business cards designed.
12. We have begun developing a website for The Branches Community Church of Escondido.
We have really been blessed by God through all of this and His plan for His church. There are so many things that I could keep writing. As the days go by I will keep you posted on what twists and turns God takes us on next.
